How the Novitiate Works
For those interested in exploring the journey to Companionship, the first step is to attend an ‘Introduction to Community’ retreat, either at Nether Springs or online to find out more about the Northumbria Community, its history, its ethos and its Rule.

If having attended a Community Introduction, the novitiate journey to Companionship resonates with you then you can explore it further.

The first is for postulants. If you are a postulant and have misplaced your password please contact Sarah Fowle on sarah.fowle@northumbriacommunity.org
After returning the discernment questions you will get matched to an existing companion as a mentor as you work through Aspects of the Novitiate over the following months until both you and your mentor feel you are ready to become a Companion.
